LIFE’S WORK: THE FILMS OF ROMAN POLANSKI: SPACES
I present to you my video essay exploring the films of Roman Polanski that emphasize confined locations starting from his student films and covering five decades. I would like to call this method editing, where watching all these Polanski films put my mind in a weird mental space, while coincidentally being made while I start the process of apartment hunting myself.
I cannot emphasize enough that, overall, my feelings about Polanski's work are all over the place including the films in the essay. But doing this gave me a better understanding of him and how he seems to feel about his surroundings.
